Who is Angela?
From KIWI Services to a Cleaning Blog: Angela Says
First and foremost, I am a mother and a wife. And it’s through this specific role that I created a new role for myself: businesswoman. Back in 1987, I was a young parent who was just trying to keep on top of everything in the household. However, with a house full of kids and pets, this pretty much proved to be impossible. Although I could clean just about everything myself, I just couldn’t seem to get a handle on the carpets. So, I decided to call a professional carpet cleaning company to brighten the house up a bit.
But to my surprise, there were absolutely no carpet cleaning companies that gave a discounted rate for loyal customers. This meant that not only was I going to spend a hefty amount on the initial carpet cleaning, but I would have to pay this much for each and every time I used them. I decided that with kids and pets in the house, this just wouldn’t (and couldn’t) do. I just knew the second the tech would leave my house, a fresh stain would appear and would live there until I could afford another carpet cleaning.
I decided to create my own carpet cleaning company with the real carpet cleaning customer in mind. And with this simple idea, Kiwi Services was born. Kiwi has been our pride and joy (besides the kids, of course) over the last 30 years and I can safely say there’s nobody out there quite like us.
Kiwi Services gives the Kiwi Lover One-Year Warranty to customers who spend $88 or more on an initial carpet cleaning. From there, the customer can call us to reclean their carpets as many times as they want for a full year. All they have to do is pay us $4 per room plus a small trip charge.
Kiwi also prides itself on being a green cleaning company, which I believe is just so important these days. Kiwi’s dry carpet cleaning method produces no wastewater and our carpet cleaning solution is made with only all-natural ingredients and is 100% safe for kids and pets.
Needless to say, I’ve learned a lot in these past couple of decades–and now I have a cleaning blog and it’s what I know best. I want to entirely dedicate this blog to tips on cleaning, motivational tools for cleaning and organizing a household.
So let’s have some fun. Shall we?
Love you business ethics & the fact you are willing to share
Thanks for your instructions on how to clean the drain on the duet washing machine. We’re fortunate the smell wasn’t AS bad as you foretold ( though not pleasant). The machine now seems fine. Thanks!
