Yes, if your bathroom fan sounds like a dying animal, it&#8217;s time to clean it or replace it. I finally got the courage to clean mine\u00a0\u2014I&#8217;ve been certain that it had spiders in it due to recent spider sightings in my house.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what you need to clean the bathroom fan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Screwdriver with a flat head<\/li>\n<li>Vinegar<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning brush<\/li>\n<li>Warm soapy water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>(Vacuum the cover first, if necessary) Pull the cover down. The cover is held in place by 2 metal clips that need to be pinched to be released.<br \/>\n<img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4492 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/bathroom-fan-1.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/bathroom-fan-1.webp 650w, https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/bathroom-fan-1-300x225.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Unplug the fan motor and remove the screw holding the metal plate. If your fan still makes terrible noises, even after cleaning it, you might consider getting a new one.
