For once in my life, I knew what I wanted to wear last Friday, but it was wrinkly. With my morning routine, I had about 30 seconds to do something about the wrinkles, or choose something else to wear as I don’t leave enough time for myself for another one of my no ironing hacks<\/a>. I found my spray bottle and figured a little bit of water would help loosen up the clothing fibers and if I sprayed it lightly enough, the shirt would be ready to wear in 10 minutes. When I walked out the door 10 minutes later, I was wearing that shirt, wrinkle free.<\/p>\n

I did add my favorite cleaning ingredient to the water to make sure that it smelled fresh as well.<\/p>\n

\u00a02 in 1 Wrinkle Release and Fabreze<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You will need:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Spray bottle<\/li>\n
  • Water<\/li>\n
  • White Vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Simply mix a 50\/50 solution of the water and vinegar together in a spray bottle. Use more water if you are worried about a vinegar after smell. On my shirt, there was a slight vinegar smell, but only if my nose was touching the shirt. So if your toddlers dislike the vinegar smell, keep the 50% solution\u00a0as snotty nose repellent. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Step One:\u00a0<\/strong>Hang your shirt up to ensure max air flow so it can dry quickly.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Step Two:\u00a0<\/strong>Spray shirt lightly to dampen, but not soak, to release wrinkles. The weight of the dampened fabric will cause the wrinkles to fall out.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Step Three:\u00a0<\/b>Give the shirt, or other article of clothing, a few minutes to dry.<\/p>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    Enjoy your wrinkle free shirt! I missed a spot at the bottom there but I would still wear this. The vinegar will help to get rid of any dirty laundry odors<\/strong> that might be in your clothing without leaving any residue.<\/p>\n

    I have seen other DIY wrinkle release sprays that use fabric softener but I would caution against using fabric softener. Using a fabric softener in the spray can leave spots on your clothing that may be hard to wash out and may leave a waxy residue on your clothing as it is in higher concentration in the spray than it would be in the washer.\u00a0Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Fabric softener used properly in the washer shouldn’t do this to your clothing<\/span>.<\/p>\n

    Anyways, aside from the fabric softener tangent, which is totally cool if you use it in your washer, I am pretty sure this 2 in 1 Wrinkle Release and Fabreze spray is going to be my saving grace in the future for those last minute, wrinkly outfits I want to wear. (Because sometimes getting the clothes hung up after a week in the clean laundry basket is still a win.)<\/p>\n
