I’m sure that many of you are used to using club soda as a mixer or something to soothe an upset tummy. But did you know that club soda actually makes a fantastic green cleaning agent?<\/span><\/p>\n

The carbonation and sodium in this inexpensive cleaner work well to make the surfaces of your home sparkle and shine. Besides that, you can rest assured that if your children or pets should get into the cleaning supplies cabinet that they can never get hurt or sick from taking a sip of it. So today I’m going to give you a few tips on how to use club soda around the house.<\/p>\n

\u2022Mix two cups of club soda with one tablespoon of salt for a fantastic general cleaning solution. Clean counters, bathrooms, etc. with this diy cleaning agent. You’ll be amazed at all the stains it can pick up!<\/p>\n

\u2022Shine a scuffed stainless steel product with a towel heavily spritzed with club soda. The scuffs should come right out, leaving you with a perfect, gleaming surface.<\/p>\n

\u2022Add two teaspoons of lemon juice to one cup of club soda for a great window\/ glass cleaner.<\/p>\n

\u2022Pour club soda in dirty cookware when still warm. Let the pots and pans soak for about 20-25 minutes before you clean and rinse as normal. You’ll be in awe of how much easier this makes your life.<\/p>\n

\u2022Spritz club soda on your plants to keep them healthy (just make sure it’s flat first.)<\/p>\n

\u2022Spray club soda to clean off bugs, bird droppings, and whatever else gets on your windshield while you’re on the road.<\/p>\n
