They make the packing more efficient and slightly less stressful.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4690 size-full\" title=\"16 Moving Tips You Ought to Try- Angsays.wordpress.com\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/moving-hacks-1.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/moving-hacks-1.webp 450w, https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/moving-hacks-1-225x300.webp 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Saran wrap bottles<br \/>\n<\/strong>Prevent shampoo explosions, or in this case a peppercorn bomb by placing a piece of plastic wrap over the opening then screwing the lid back on.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wrap glass items in towels or dish cloths<\/strong><br \/>\nNot only do you not have to throw away a bunch of paper afterwards or hoard the plastic grocery bags but you get double duty from packing both items at the same time.<\/li>\n<li><b>Pack books in rolling suitcases<br \/>\n<\/b>Protect your (Harry Potter) books and move them easily with the convenience wheels and built in, sturdy handles.<br \/>\n<img class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2151 size-full\" title=\"16 Moving Tips You Ought to Try- Angsays.wordpress.com\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/moving-tips.jpg\" alt=\"moving tips\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\"><\/li>\n<li><strong>Use pillow and blankets as padding<br \/>\n<\/strong>Couch cushions will work too when you need a buffer between large items in the moving truck or in individual boxes. Just make sure they are protected with a plastic bag.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Take a photo of the back of the TV<br \/>\n<\/strong>With the photo, you&#8217;ll be able to remember where all of the cords go instead of playing &#8220;Can You See it Now?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Double sheet your mattress<br \/>\n<\/strong>This is when your multiple sets of sheets finally come in handy. If you don&#8217;t buy a plastic mattress protector, use a fitted sheet on each side of your mattress to help keep it clean during the move.<\/li>\n<li><b>Have a tape gun<br \/>\n<\/b>With all of those boxes needing to be taped up, get a tape gun to quickly secure each box. It also works well to secure hoses and cords to appliances.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saran wrap silverware organizer<br \/>\n<\/strong>Or utensil, flatware organizer, whatever you kids call it these day.
