Annoying. I still wear them but usually with jeans or a dress that covers up the scuff marks which ruins the point of buying cute shoes. Anyways, I have a pair of basic white heels which I&#8217;ve had forever that were dreadfully scuffed up until I came across <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/207165651582592266\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this pin<\/a>. Now I don&#8217;t have an excuse to buy <a title=\"Keep Your Shoes Looking&nbsp;New\" href=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/keep-shoes-looking-new\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new shoes<\/a> because my old ones are all scuffed up. Here&#8217;s how to remove scuff marks from heels.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">You will need<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nail polish remover<\/li>\n<li>Q-tips<\/li>\n<li>Magic eraser<\/li>\n<li>Scuffed up heels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img class=\"size-full wp-image-2055 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-scuff-marks.jpg\" alt=\"remove-scuff-marks\" width=\"551\" height=\"551\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-scuff-marks.jpg 600w, https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-scuff-marks-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-scuff-marks-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 551px) 100vw, 551px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wet q-tip or magic eraser with nail polish remover and gently rub the scuff mark.&nbsp;<strong>Do not&nbsp;<\/strong>use magic eraser with patent leather shoes as it may dull the finish of the shoe.<br \/>\n<img class=\"size-full wp-image-2054 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-heel-scuff-marks.jpg\" alt=\"remove-heel-scuff-marks\" width=\"551\" height=\"551\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-heel-scuff-marks.jpg 600w, https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-heel-scuff-marks-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-heel-scuff-marks-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 551px) 100vw, 551px\" \/><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/removing-scuff-marks.jpg\" alt=\"removing-scuff-marks\" width=\"551\" height=\"551\"><\/li>\n<li>Continue rubbing scuff marks until gone. This took me about five minutes for each shoe. I started off with the q-tip and finished up with the magic eraser dipped in nail polish remover.<br \/>\n<img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/kiwiservices.com\/angela-says\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/remove-scuff-marks-from-heels.jpg\" alt=\"remove-scuff-marks-from-heels\" width=\"551\" height=\"551\"><\/li>\n<li>Optional, take a damp cloth and wipe down shoe when you are finished. This will remove\/dilute any excess remover from your shoe as well as the magic eraser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The nail polish dissolves the plastic\/rubber effectively removing the scuff while leaving the leather alone since it is skin. These shoes I tried this on were old shoes that I was not worried about ruining. Always test in an inconspicuous spot if you are worried about ruining your shoe before trying to remove the scuff. I am very happy with the results and glad that my shoes no longer have scuff marks.
